I love this driver! Changing bits is a breeze instead of a hassle. With a Wera 89mm power bit it holds and acts like a precision screwdriver. With a 1" bit loaded it is a compact, pocketable, capable screwdriver. The Stanley T-handle is good for hi torque but otherwise the ratcheting is not great. The Rapidaptor bit holder locks bit's in place with authority. Its a bit bigger than I would like but does come in handy for torque. The Megapro automotive is nice, probably the best all around. The Rolgear is good I got the smaller driver without the bit storage and I use it for fine work. The Mastercraft felt crusty but some teflon dry lube squirted into the ratchet fixed that, and I jb welded the shaft to the handle. The Milwaukee is heavy and the ratchet is a bit crude but its okay, especially the stubby version. The Makita slipped under mid-hi torque so I salvaged the bit holder part and discarded it. I have the Megapro, Rolgear, Milwaukee, Makita and Mastercraft (Crappy Tire) and Stanley T-handle ratcheting screwdrivers. Having to unscrew/screw and sort through them to find the desired bit is a deal breaker. Ya the Williams uses the old fashioned screw cap storage, also used in dollar store drivers. Just know that the extra long bits that come with the Kobalt are just extra bits to carry on the side because they're a tad too long to fit inside the handle, but with regular sized short-medium length bits, I can fit like 13 in the handle. Also, I think the Kobalt has like 72 teeth or something, which is great because it's super smooth compared to a lot of the others on the market. He put it up against some others and still preferred the Kobalt because the locking collar was able to hold 15lbs without dropping the bit.this is important because sometimes bits catch on screws or other things and with only a magnet holding them they could easily pop out and get lost and if you're working in an engine compartment, then you're screwed lol (pun not intended). I think Real Tool Reviews even did a video on it and even though I'm normally so-so with his videos, his Kobalt vid was great. The Wera handle is nice, but there's no way it's worth $35-50 dollars when you can get a Kobalt version with a better bit holder for just $11 bucks. I initially bought a Milwaukee ratcheting screwdriver, but returned it because I didn't like the weak magnet holder for the bits and I figured if all the expensive ones utilize that same design, then they're not worth anything more than basic versions, so I bought the Kobalt and haven't looked back. Whereas with the Kobalt, you can simply walk into any Lowes and get a replacement for free. Plus, the Wera costs like 3-4x as much and people frequently complain that it eventually self destructs with the spring mechanisms holding it together and Wera can be hard to warranty from since their NA division is based in Canada. The Wera has a similar design, but I believe it still relies on a magnet to hold the bits, which is weak overall. It uses an actual metal locking collar like you see on impact drivers. I went through this same dilemma a few weeks back and was debating on the Wera and some others, but honestly the Kobalt ratcheting screwdriver with the quick load feature is the best on the market, design wise. For the first time though you can attack it head-on. The Beast is an unkillable monster that you will need to hide from, staring directly at him reduces your sanity. Amnesia: The Bunker is an exploration-heavy first-person horror game. If you have played any of Frictional’s other games before, you will mostly know what to expect. The Beast is rampaging throughout the bunker, killing everyone in sight, and the lights will give you more time before it begins roaming. An important resource as, remember, you are not alone. By collecting fuel tanks around the bunker you will be able to power up a generator giving you precious light throughout it. This is also the home of the generator and your only save station. This safe room feels very similar to that of Resident Evil games: it’s a safe place that allows you to store various items to free up precious inventory rooms, and for you to study the map and plan your next big move. As you arrive at a central point, this will become safe room, a place for you to chill out and pretend that there’s nothing out there to kill you. Bodies litter the floor and it’s quite clear that something is roaming the place killing everyone in sight. Trapped, you must find a way out, but there is a dangerous beast out hunting for you.Īfter a brief intro that introduces you to the core mechanics, you are left alone to explore the dark and depressing bunker. Waking up in a bunker, things have gone horribly wrong. Things aren’t going too well and you are injured during the war. You play as Henri Clement, a French soldier fighting in World War 1. There’s still of course a story to play her,e but will mostly be delivered in the text logs you will find scattered around the bunker.Īmnesia: The Bunker promises immersive sim elements… Amnesia was at its very best when it focused on horror, and whilst SOMA may be my favourite game from the development team due to its hauntingly deep story, it’s great to see them return to form. Personally, it’s exciting that they are going back to their roots despite my enjoyment of their story-driven approach in the past few games. It feels like a return to the Frictional of old. Unlike Amnesia: Rebirth‘s divisive story-driven approach, almost all of The Bunker is entirely based on its gameplay, dropping you into the game with very little context. One that is, oddly enough, familiar, but at the same time, vastly different. The Bunker takes the series in a different direction. Now, to top things off, Frictional Games is back with the newest installment in their long-running Amnesia franchise. For example, Signalis was my personal 2022 game of the year. When I reviewed MADiSON, just under a year ago I said that we are living in a new “golden age of horror”, and I still think that is true. Undress with confidence and move without friction. Want more? Try our men's boxers multipacks and add some men's briefs to your shopping cart as well. Or pair them with relaxed pyjama bottoms on the weekend. Wear them underneath a pair of CK jeans for work. Our boxer shorts and boxer briefs never go out of style. Elliott Foos, formerly the director of coffee at Daymoves in Williamsburg, says, “Uniqlo’s basics are unrivaled, and these carry the torch.” Foos added that that he’s been into these for three-plus years (don’t worry he’s been re-upping), and still loves them.Feel confident and sexy with Calvin Klein's men's boxers and boxer shorts. “They’re soft, breathable, and keep their shape well even after many washes,” says photographer Sam Schmieg, who wore Calvin Klein for a minute but, at this price and comfort level, couldn’t pass up Uniqlo. These boxer briefs have a regular rise and a vertical fold-over fly. This makes the fabric extra soft, strong, and good at taking dye. Supima cotton is usually more expensive thanks to its relative rarity and longer staple fiber (the average length of fibers pulled from the plant) as compared to other types of cotton. And Uniqlo’s Supima cotton boxer briefs were a clear standout among our panel, receiving repeated praise for the simplicity of their design and incredible value. Derek Guy, Twitter’s “ menswear guy” and editor of men’s style website Put This On, insists that the style is infinitely better than boxers because of the added support and the fact that they don’t bunch up in your pants. Style: Boxer briefs | Fabric: Supima cotton | Fly: Traditional | Waistband: Exposed elastic | Fit: Regular rise, sizes S–3XLīoxer briefs were by far the most popular style of underwear mentioned by the experts we spoke to. Briefs have no inseam at all, boxers usually have the longest inseams, and boxer brief inseams tend to fall between three and five inches, depending on the brand. The inseam length is measured from crotch to hem down the inside of the leg. Underwear with a regular rise will likely feel more supportive and work better with mid- or higher-rise jeans or chinos. As with pants, underwear comes in regular and low rise. In this case your preference may depend more on the type of pants you wear and less on your body. There’s also rise and inseam to consider. We’ve also listed the full range of sizes for each pair below. Where possible, we’ve included these details to help you find your perfect fit. And some brands are known for baggier or slimmer cuts. Boxer briefs designed for working out will fit tighter than those meant for daily wear. Within any category, however, there will be variations on cut, seam placement, and level of compression. Boxers are the loosest, which lots of men find comfortable but makes them more likely to bunch up under your pants. Below you’ll find their recommendations for the best options in every category based on fit, comfort, and style.Īmong the three main styles of men’s underwear, briefs provide the most support, but they can sometimes feel restrictive. To assist with that little bit of self-reflection, and to find a bunch of underwear worthy of your top drawer, we talked to stylists, fitness professionals, and other discerning folks about the underwear they love most. Since you often can’t return underwear once you’ve tried it on, it’s helpful to decide where you fall on the briefs-to-boxers continuum before you buy. While all that newness is exciting, you’ll need to know a bit about your own preferences before you stock up. And over the last decade, a host of direct-to-consumer brands have attempted to reimagine men’s underwear, creating a wealth of choice. In my experience, both as a former style writer for GQ and from years of conversations with friends, brothers, and significant others, most men feel just as strongly about the way their underwear fits as they do about how it looks. Some men feel best in underwear that lifts and supports, while others prefer more room for their bits to breathe. But those words mean different things to different people. Much like socks and other wardrobe basics, the best men’s underwear should be comfortable, durable, and flattering. Patches can also be tagged, so if you’re looking for a certain style or genre of sound, it’s an easy prospect to pick out the one you love. Presets can then be organised by the user, allowing favourites to be accessed quickly, alongside the factory collection. With this in mind, creating a patch is blissfully easy and enjoyable, with instant naming and saving from the disk-shaped icons at the top of the synth’s window. Where there are multiple parameters, there’s an obvious menu layer, so the LFOs, envelope generators and two oscillators require a quick click, to get to the required component. One huge advantage that this plugin offers over the original model, is its capacity to allow the user to see all parameters simultaneously, or at least for the most part. The filter offers low, band and high-pass modes, in 24, 12, and 6dB formats from the very smooth to the exaggerated and more rugged. Martinic has also thrown in a comprehensive set of effects and chorus settings, along with greater modulation capacity, represented by four LFOs and four Envelopes, which can be duplicated in layering mode, bringing it in line with other more powerful vintage polys from the 80s era. It’s very much a modelling process and not sample-based, hence the sound of the AX feels truly organic.ĪX73 takes the original’s concept, extending with a number of new functions and parameters, the first of which takes the overall polyphony to 24 voices, while adding a second VCO per voice and a sub oscillator too. Martinic’s process of recreation involves its ACE technology Advanced Circuit Emulation. In this capacity, Martinic’s software homage is immediately a far superior prospect the first layer that confronts you, post installation, is a grey AX73 sat on a desk, complete with headphones and data cassettes, and yes, that data cassette player does emit a fax machine-like tone, which we like a lot! What we mean by this, is that behind the 6-note polyphonic and analogue architecture, there was a process of parameter selection, coupled with data entry via a single slider. With this in mind, it’s ever so easy to overlook the humble Akai AX73 an analogue synthesiser which offered a programming style not dissimilar to a Moog Source, or if you want to think digital, Yamaha DX7. OK, there were heavy doses of small-screen key-hole surgery involved, but the Akai ’S’ series samplers were known for their filters, RAM capacity and industry-standard status. Mention the brand Akai in production circles and it conjures up a reverence to hardware samplers that were once the envy of the industry. That user interface that you see? It's laid out using a markup language like XUL (not unlike Microsoft's XAML, and both bear resemblances to HTML), styled using CSS, and programmed using JavaScript. Phoenix uses the exact same core/engine (Gecko) as Suite-Mozilla products run using the same core rendering engine that is used for web content. Then a group of developers decided to create a new project called Phoenix (because it's Mozilla reborn) where they took Suite and started to strip out everything that wasn't related to the browser (so no e-mail client, no editor, etc.), simplified the UI (hacked out a ton of menu items, simplified the options, etc.). It was called the Mozilla Suite, and for a while, the Suite was Mozilla's flagship product. So when Netscape gave way to Mozilla, things started out as a single big program that did everything and had a gazillion different features and options all rolled into one. The Netscape 4 Communicator suite was a browser, an e-mail client, a newsgroup reader, and a WYSIWYG HTML editor, all rolled up into one big happy package. It’s meant for more advanced users.Back before Mozilla, in the days of Netscape 4, the fad was to have a big all-in-one package. To conclude, SeaMonkey is a great app to have if you want to squeeze several features that you use on the Internet into one interface. What is more, you’ll be able to browse the latest news through the newsfeed, create webpages using an inbuilt HTML tool that makes it possible for you to create customized pages and more.Īnd we should also mention that the tool supports IRC, the universal and most widely used chatting tool that allows you to communicate to other people through it. You should know that you’ll need an account for using all of the main features here, though. You’ll be able to send emails with the SeaMonkey email platform. What is more, the app also has some other capabilities that many users will love. You can use tabs for browsing, popups, notifications, profile manager, and several other tools. Namely, you’ll be able to browse the web through an interface that again closely resembles Mozilla and Thunderbird. This app has many different capabilities and tools that you’ll find on the internet. Much of the experience using this app will be similar to that of Mozilla. You’ll see that most of the interface of this app is derived from the Mozilla interface – and that’s because it uses the same code as Mozilla, too. If there were a phrase to describe this application as quickly as possible, it would be internet in one place. It also has add-ons that will greatly improve the functionality of the app. It is primarily meant for more advanced users, but all types of users can use its features, regardless of your level of tech-savvy. It is the complete tool that compiles some of the most popular tasks done on the internet into one neat interface. SeaMonkey is an all-in-one application meant for more advanced users, as it enables them to perform various tasks such as sending emails, browsing the internet, composing HTML files, chat, and more. array attributesToArray() Convert the models attributes to an array. Video plus close-up images and detailed descriptions help judge condition and assign a grade. Washington Quarters: Of importance to grading Washington quarters is identifying and separating the minimum silver value examples from the higher collector quality coins. How To Video: Grading Washington Quarters Many letters are often weak but must remain readable. Legend is merging with the rim at tops of letters. The eagle is very flat, however, a full outline to the wings is complete. Reverse: Features Identifying the Good Grade: Many feather details to the center of the wings remain. These coins have the potential of higher collectible value. A coin with sharp detail, only traces of wear, and some mint luster approaches the "Mint State" grade. A full rim and some hair detail on Washington separate a coin in "Fine" condition from one in the lower "Good" condition. After this you are ready to check the coin values chart.Īs you grade your quarters, focus your attention on the rim of the coin. Separate out the well-worn coins, then assign a grade to your nicer coins. To determine your Washington quarters value, compare your coins to the grading images below. Top values are found in the upper grade quarters. Also always desirable are examples in Mint State - brand new - condition. A heavily worn "Good" condition coin - if a key date - has appeal to collectors. The condition or state of preservation has a large impact on Washington quarters value. Step 2: | Grading Condition | Identify Collector Grade Look on the reverse in the space above "ER" and below the olive branches, if no mintmark, Philadelphia struck the coin. No mintmark was used by Philadelphia on coinage during the early Washington quarters era. A date run of Philadelphia silver quarters is an interesting and affordable collection of silver coins. Missing only one year - 1933 Philadelphia struck 1.8 bullion silver quarters. Production of the silver Washington quarter era dates from 1932 to 1964. Philadelphia is the main US mint, striking "circulating" coinage and proof coins. Identity of mintmarks narrows the range of how much these silver quarters are worth. Mint state coins attract the most attention and are worth in line with initial mintage numbers. Availability of all dates and mintmark combinations attracts both new and advanced collectors with sets assembled in many grades of condition.
